I like how Lynch is going without a facemask. That's old school.

The Bears are trying Wells are DE instead of DT. He looks pretty slim in that picture with Lynch.

He's not going without a mask. That's just a fitting.

I heard that Jordan will indeed be wearing a facemask but not an athletic supporter. And he doesn't care if someone tries to hit him below the belt. He's that tough.

Are they the same species? @amandakaschube QB David Fales hands off to former QB/now RB Jordan Lynch at #Bears camp.

Jordan Lynch's roommate is Ka'Deem Carey, who went to Arizona. Lynch says Carey put on two sweatshirts this morning while it flurried.

Quote:Zach Zaidman ‏@ZachZaidman 1m

Today is the first day of rookie minicamp. Reporter to Jordan Lynch: Do you already know the full playbook? Lynch: "No."

Quote:Michael C. Wright ‏@mikecwright 1h

Was a tad surprised that Jordan Lynch totally looked the part as a running back.

Quote:Michael C. Wright ‏@mikecwright 55m

Trestman said Jordan Lynch "certainly didn't look out of place" today. Said he didn't "seem awkward in n-e way running & catching the ball."

I hate to say this but the CPC at NIU looks better than the Walter Payton center the Bears have.

1) Why would the amount of press have anything to do with what roster he is or isn't on?

2) Ideally he fills the role of third string QB, third string RB and full time special teams player. If he can be an emergency QB+RB and a productive special teams player he could be very valuable.

Maybe they will keep him on the practice squad, becasue it is good pub for them with the local boy made the team story. 3rd string QB or 4th string RB is not usually on the active roster. Just my opinion.

I know it is still early, but I don't think he will see any reps as a QB this spring/summer. That would take away from him learning the RB position and from another QB getting snaps. Also, I think David Fales has at least the 3rd string role on lock since he was drafted. I don't think Emery would draft a guy to not make the team.
