I genuinely hope there's more to this story because this is wrong, IMO.

If this is true, then let's hope things blow up for Sun Trust.

This stuff is going to come to a head (no pun intended) soon enough.

How long til "Christians" decide to boycott Sun Trust over dumb decisions like this one? We'll be seeing separate but equal all over again and there will be a fair dose of spite and anger sprinkled on top.

Yep, you're 100% right. And Sun Trust customers have every right to take their business elsewhere by the actions of Sun Trust as well. As we saw with Chik-fil-a, it can work both ways.

The owners of a "christian bake shop" can say what they like and sponsor whatever they like...they simply can't turn away a customer because they're gay.

Just as the owners of Sun Trust can sponsor whatever they like...but they can't turn away a christian from opening an account because of their religion.

And then comes..."but, but, but, bars can not serve people"...yes, when alcohol is involved you have discretion to not serve a drunk person.

FYI they were not turning away the customers becaure they were gay. The owners were quite specific that if the cake was for a B-day, graduation, or other event they would be happy to provide it.

They did not want to endorse a gay wedding..
