The 35-second shot clock traditionally used in men's college basketball is longer than the time allotted to teams in the NBA, FIBA and women's college basketball.

More possessions = more 3 pt shots. Sounds good to me!

I'm not sure UC ever uses the full 35 sec. If it makes for higher scoring and more excitment - I'm all for it.

30 seconds is perfect. 35 is too long, and the NBA's 24 is too short (and is why you almost never see a full offensive play executed in the NBA - the short clock means that isolations and kick-outs are more viable).

But what do I know...I happen to love set plays in basketball but that's a matter of personal taste
