Or a genius. Time will tell.

Even if he somehow got all those teams right (which I doubt) he's still an idiot because he has the AAC filling a spot as a backup in the Bahama's but not filling their required spot in the Beef Bowl, and has an ACC team filling the backup spot when they are the primary team along with the AAC this year. So he's an idiot even if he lucked into getting all those picks right.

Yeah, he is clueless.

Yep, and if USF is bowl eligible this year, Miami would be my guess for them since UCF plays BYU in the regular season. Assuming UCF is bowl eligible, I'd think St. Pete vs. the ACC is the setup we'd end up seeing.

Regardless, I doubt UCF will play in the Miami bowl to avoid the rematch against BYU.

Agree. UCF could contend for access/peach bowl, but other than that, you're going to either MBB (not likely to avoid rematch), St Pete, or possibly Birmingham, with St Pete the most likely destination. Hopefully ACC sends decent opponent.

I agree this is way to early and I really don't see Houston going to the Armed Forces Bowl again any time soon no matter what!!!

My predictions:

Peach Bowl vs. At Large - Cincinnati

Birmingham Bowl vs. SEC - Houston

St. Petersburg Bowl vs. ACC - UCF

Miami Beach Bowl vs. BYU - USF

Military Bowl vs. ACC - ECU

Armed Forces Bowl vs. Army/Big 12 - SMU

At Large in open bowl -- Memphis and UConn

8 Bowl eligible teams.

Not having ECU a bowl is insane. The list has NCSU as a replacement for an ACC bowl game this season, I hope they make a bowl but we need to show we actually have a QB this year. St. Pete is ACC vs AAC this season. He missed the American gave up the Bahama Bowl this season even though he had BYU in the Miami bowl. Hard to take serious these predictions when he has no clue which teams are tied-in to the bowls.

I think you're going to Birmingham vs. SEC. Decent drive from Houston, not too far away.

Haven't looked at the whole thing, but starting from the bottom up, the 2014 NO Bowl is MWC vs. SB last I heard.

The Armed Forces Bowl will be a primary destination for Houston when it's available to the AAC (which isn't often). Its against a B12 team, so it's a fairly decent bowl that's a reasonable 4-5 hour drive from the school. Given most of the AAC bowls are over 1000 miles from Houston, there's not many I'd rather go to (and frankly, bowls that are 1000 miles away are not going to be itching to pick us).

Your predictions make more sense. I see every one of those teams being Bowl eligible, but it will require alot of 6-6 and 7-5 records.

See, it's not that hard. This guy did very little research about the AAC, and didn't even know some of our tie ins.

You're right about the 6-6/7-6 records. I think USF, UConn, Memphis, and SMU will be in the 6-6 to 8-4 range. I think UC, Houston, UCF, and ECU could be 8-4 or greater. I don't think Temple, Tulsa, or Tulane quite get to 6 wins. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion. I wasn't that impressed with Tulsa or Tulane last year. Tulsa was poor, and Tulane was improved, but still mediocre. I don't see them winning enough AAC games. Again just my opinion.

True, but USF, Temple, U Conn and Memphis were poor as well. 3 lost to FCS teams. There wasn't a FBS ooc win in the bunch. At least U Conn ended the season on an up note. Tulane had bad QB play last year...we'll see if that improves. Don't know what Tulsa will be. Some teams in this group will be decent, but I can't tell who honestly.
