New Years Eve in Hot-Lanta, I'll take it. The ATL is home (or was) to Oleskl.

In a heartbeat . With us being the G5 rep and Palm also having Ohio State in the 4 team playoff. I'd assume in his world UC lost to Ohio State but won all the rest of their games. 04-rock Yeah Ill take it .

My optimism stems from being the only G5 team that actually looks halfway decent next year.

Very true. On paper we look the best, but we cant afford a slipup to USF again

If we don't at least split the Miami/OSU games, we won't be able to make the access bowl withevery other game being a win. That's the honest truth.

10-2 is the minimum unless the best team from the other G5 conference loses in their conference champion game and the American is the default sixth best league.

Lets say UC is the conference champion at 9-3, 7-1 in conference. My guess is that isn't going to get in done because there could always be a 11-1 team lurking out there; however, if that team ends up losing in their conference championship game to a multiple loss team than UC probably gets in. 10-2 Boise State losing to 8 or 9 win SDSU, Fresno State, Nevada, or SJSU knocks out Boise State and probably doesn't do enough for the team that beat them either.

That would make 3 BCS-level bowl games in 7 years? Not to shabby! 03-cloud9

Plus he has 5 other American Conference teams in bowl games:

UConn
Memphis
UCF
Houston
Tulsa

Again, not too shabby...

The last thing a lot of people saw of ECU was them getting absolutely lit up by an extremely average Marshall squad. Hard to get any love when you let them drop 50+ on you.

Many on here arent giving UCF much respect. They are in the top 25 in a few different preseason polls. Yes they lost Bortles and Johnson but Stanback was all conference as a freshman. I just rewatched the fiesta bowl and they have some players. 10 returning starters on D and a group of playmakers at WR. Very impressive some of the plays they made. Plus O'Leary is a hell of a coach. I think they're the team to beat until proven otherwise.
