The best thing
About the new Godzilla movie opening this week. is that the Japanese will be stuck with the badly dubbed version of the movie. They can watch the mouth not sinc up with the sound all through out the movie.

They don't just subtitle the big US blockbusters there?

It doesn't matter. All Japanese people speak English also.

RE: The best thing
it was a waste of a time of a movie in that if everyone in it had just listen to the Japanese scientist from the beginning and let 'nature' taked it course then it would have been solved and it was solved anyway despite human attempts

2nd best thing is WB and Legendary Pictures have announced that a second Godzilla movie is in development. A $200 million world wide opening tends to breed sequels.

Dang! I was looking forward to it. I'll just stick to Ultraman reruns.

I thought it was really well done. My wife even liked it a lot. I enjoyed the slow build throughout the movie. Reminded me of watching Jaws or Jurassic Park.

The big guy gets a couple of pretty cool moments.

If you watch Godzilla backwards its about a giant lizard who's only passion in life is to rebuild a semi-destroyed city. Content with his work, he then moonwalks into the ocean. The movie ends peacefully with an old guy fishing on a pier.

I don't get it. If you watched it backwards, wouldn't you need eyes in the back of your head? Mothers are the only people like that, at least that's what kids say.

Legendary Confirms Gareth Edwards Still Attached to Godzilla Sequel

The big news of the day is that Godzilla helmer Gareth Edwards will be directing a mystery Star Wars film for release on December 16, 2016. What does that mean, though, for another big screen adventure with the King of Monsters? ComingSoon.net's ShockTillYouDrop.com has an update straight from Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull.

“Gareth's filmmaking talent makes him one of his generation's most creative and visionary directors,” says Tull. “The plan has always been for Gareth to direct a different film before we started on another 'Godzilla,' but who knew it would be a 'Star Wars' installment? We have a great plan in store for 'Godzilla' fans and I am looking forward to seeing Gareth’s imprint on the 'Star Wars' universe.”

The Hollywood Reporter goes on to say that Edwards is attached not only to a Godzilla sequel, but for a full Godzilla trilogy.

Not on the same level as a Final Wars or Megaguirus or Destroyah. But still a lot better than Son of Godzilla, Destroy all Monsters and Godzilla's Revenge.
