Every ACC school got their own cover except the NC schools, where 3 had to share a cover and one wasn't completely neglected.

Interested in "Money Talks at FSU".

That's what happens when you have 3 schools that close together that share the same customer base. As far as I know, there is nowhere else in the country with 3 schools of that caliber in such close proximity.

FSU deservedly received the star treatment with three national covers. BTW, Syracuse was the only other All Sports ACC team to make a national cover. Notre Dame was on FIVE Covers.

None of them were worth creating a separate cover for, and a 4th NC school didn't even get placed on a cover.

UVA didn't share VT's cover.

Charlottesville and Blacksburg are 150 miles away from each other. Duke and UNC are less than 10 miles away from each other and NC State is about 30 miles away. Hardly the same thing.

The three are lumped together as the "triangle" schools. It is what it is.

2 fairly large state public universities with another prominent private school less than half an hour down the road. All three schools have shown past ability to win at a high level and play in decent to good bowl games.
