New Emails: Democratic Senator Pressured IRS To Target Groups

Levin, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ permanent subcommittee on investigations, wrote a March 30, 2012 letter to then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman discussing the “urgency” of the issue of possible political activity by nonprofit applicants. Levin asked if the IRS was sending out additional information requests to applicant groups and citing an IRS rejection letter to a conservative group as an example of how the IRS should be conducting its business.

A top IRS official replied that the agency could send out “individualized questions and requests.”

Quote:Then-IRS deputy commissioner Steven T. Miller sent Levin a 16-page response explaining that the flexibility of IRS rules allow for the agency to “prepare individualized questions and requests.”

In the same breath saying that we cannot talk about it until the investigation is complete, then appointing a lieberal political crony to head up the investigation who interviews only selectively and not even calling the FBI to the crime scene till 3 weeks later.

As I said...this has been known for nearly two years. In fact, Levin himself released all this information in September of 2012. He even released this secret letter that judicial watch is acting like is some great peice of hidden evidence that only they uncovered.

Here it is old man. I'm sorry that I have to explain stuff to you, but when you're ignorant, I consider it mandatory to help those intellectually challenged like yourself.
