I just took a look at the latest APR fugures for all athletic programs at ODU for 2012-13, and they are very good. None of our programs appear to be close to any trouble.
I know Wood Selig has some detractors here, for various reasons, and I thought it would be good to take a look at the five year trends for the various programs starting in 2008-09. I think these numbers prove that Selig is serious about the academic well being of ODU Athletics, and it's student athletes. I think he, along with many others, have done a wonderful job in this regard. You will see that most of the program's APR's have gone up, some dramatically. The programs I would place an asterisk by are Men's Swimming, Womens Golf, and Lacrosse, and Rowing (because the numbers for these were relatively high to begin with, and Womens Basketball which showed only a modest 2 pt. rise over five years, but a 42 point rise over the last three years.
