Smn, I would warn you to watch your back in L.C. If you read the El Paso Times there's more crime in lil ol' Las Cruces then there is in E.P. It's also the baby killer capital of the U.S. I really don't know why there is so much child abuse there.

This is true. Everything in southern NM is a shithole, filled with shithole people and NMSU fans. Research Sunland Park politics and you'll understand They hate everything because they know how crappy they are. Good luck smn.

Gary Johnson.

Jon Huntsman is a R I could vote for, though.

and you would be correct. Gary Johnson has a chicken's chance in China. A third party vote just dilutes the opposition for Hillary. But we know you knuckleheads will do it anyway, and we will have another 8 years of insanity and dwindling freedoms because you wanted your freedoms.

Gary Johnson is a nut job. While I do admire his unwavering consistent philosophy, his concept of reality is somewhere between Mars and Uranus.

Don't forget, the Patriot Act was enacted under a Republican Congress and President.

I don't give two craps about the patriot act or your silly drug war. I care about a real loss of freedoms, an eroding culture and a failing country. I care about being over run by illegal immigrants and rising inflation. I care about my tax dollars going to people who don't deserve it while the amount of lazy, uneducated dead beats continue grow.

Gary Johnson isn't going to do a damn thing in the election. Vote for someone who can beat Hillary.

TARP was enacted under Bush, driving inflation. The Republicans are now coming around and supporting immigration reform. The last time we had welfare reform was under a Democratic President.

Have the Republicans put someone up with voting for instead of another retread of RINO. Boehner is a Democrat more or less, Romney was as well as McCain (who I voted for, btw). I see no reason to vote for a Republican as long as they continue to put big spending candidates in place.

It's this simple Gary Johnson cannot win.

I know you won't vote for a Republican. You will vote for a populist that has no chance. But understand that Hillary will win the election, your vote is futile and the class, race, gender and sexuality war will continue while the true loss of freedoms will continue.

It's funny how people who are concerned with stuff like the NSA, drug war etc, and talk about losing freedoms are the first to get duped into Marxist tactics like the garbage that takes place in the NFL and NBA.

A man lost everything because he had a private conversation. That is a the ultimate loss of freedom. That will continue.

Your idea of cutting big spending is reducing the size of the military. No thanks.

But once again, so is your vote. If McCain would have won he would have done almost everything that has gone down under Obama (save Obamacare). If Romney would have won he wouldn't have stopped Obamacare from being enacted, it was unstoppable by that point. Both would have continued this high spending, high deficit crap that has been going on since Reagan (save a couple years under Clinton).

Quote:It's funny how people who are concerned with stuff like the NSA, drug war etc, and talk about losing freedoms are the first to get duped into Marxist tactics like the garbage that takes place in the NFL and NBA.

It is funny that the Republicans who complain about this now never complained about it under Bush when the same things were going on. I have kept a consistent view from day 1, the Patriot Act is nothing but an attack on our rights as citizens and it needs to be repealed.

Quote:A man lost everything because he had a private conversation. That is a the ultimate loss of freedom. That will continue.

That was done by a private organization and would have happened whether Obama was President or Romney. You always try to attach that to the Democrats but fact of the matter is that this happens in private organizations every day. This is just a higher profile case of it.

Quote:Your idea of cutting big spending is reducing the size of the military. No thanks.

My idea is to cut the ridiculous waste we have in our military (which is probably the most inefficient in the world), reform welfare (as I said in the other thread, mandidatory birth control if you can't afford to pay for yourself and your kids now), and remove Obamacare (not doable, so reform it to a more satisfactory situation, whatever that may be).

I'd also eliminate the corporate income tax, but raise capital gains tax to match your income tax bracket. No more CEOs getting $20M in compensation but taking $19M of it in stock options so they only get taxed at 15% upon the time they sell them. If you got $20M in compensation, you are going to pay taxes on $20M of income.

The Patriot Act has some good pieces, but has been abused beyond the spirit of the law. I'll be the first to admit I regret getting swept away in 9/11 vengeance and supporting it along with other Homeland spending bills and the Iraq War. You live, you learn.

The Patriot Act from day 1 took away our rights against illegal search and seizure. That is why I never supported it.

getting into a pissing war over the Republicans is pretty silly, my friend. Who has been running the country the last 8 years? Shall we get into how much the Democrats have spent?

You want more of that, vote for someone other than the Republicans, because your guy ain't winning the election.

As I point out every time you say this... BOTH PARTIES HAVE OVER SPENT! Who was in charge the 8 years before that? When Bush left office he added more debt than any President before him. Obama has continued on that path, but neither party is serious about balancing the budget.

I didn't read the Patriot Act, but it was sold as the ability to spy on correspondence between terrorists overseas and the US (I still support this notion), not among US Citizens within the US.
