Big East Recruiting Grades
Just saw this:
http://insider.espn.go.com/college-sport...ass-grades
for those that don't have insider....
seems pretty fair-
Georgetown A
Seton Hall A
Xavier A-
Providence A-
Villanova B+
Creighton B
Butler B-
DePaul C
St John's C
Marquette I
wonder what grade Marquette would have gotten if they had been able to keep their class- I'm thinking at least like a B+ if not A-.
I think for Georgetown- seems like between this year and now next year with 3 top 75 big guys- the post seems set. The question is going to be can JT3 get some guards to play with the bigs.

yeah- though as I've been saying- the 2015 year will be more of an indicator as all the stuff with the split is done now and recruits that will be signing in November for 2015 will have been recruited with the new big east and all the new factors in place. A lot of the recruiting for 2014 had been done even prior to the split.

I think they're low on Xavier (and they have a good grade so far).
Xavier will be very, very good.

I think part of it is the placement of the Xavier guys on the ESPN top 100. If you look- Seton Hall has 2 top 100 guys- both though in the top 50. Xavier also has 2- but they're 46 and 78.

Xavier lost out on a local guy to WVU today. Time will tell, but I still think FS1 exposure is going to hurt the Big East schools in the long run.

think what will be telling is if FS1 can get the NBA or Big Ten. If they do- FS1 will be fine. It's if they got shut out that FS1 is in deep trouble. Even getting 1 dramatically helps FS1 out for either the August-March or October-June time frames.

I will be surprised if Fox doesn't get a piece of the Big Ten in the next contract negotiations, with FS1 getting a weeknight basketball package. ESPN and Fox have been careful to avoid getting into bidding wars with each other. Look for the next B1G package to be split between them in a manner similar to the Big XII and Pac 12.
