For practice, you don't need full length fields. The field between the parking lot and football offices is PLENTY big enough for a turf practice field (width-wise) and maybe two. If the length is 70-80 yards instead of 100, so what?
Even when I played at UAB, we lined a shortened field out there and practiced on it. AND there was space left over on either side. If they push toward the parking lot a llittle, there may be width for two fields, side by side.
