I'm sure it goes both ways, however.
But we do have "insurance" in that our womens teams are good year in and year out.
For the Western fan above:
C-USA Basketball 2015 Championship Tournaments are scheduled for Wednesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 14
That is so freaking awesome to have the championship on the weekend. In the conference we're currently in, the semis and finals have always seemed be on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday which hurts out-of-town attendees. It's much more difficult for families to attend those games because of work and K-12 school whereas a Friday night and Saturday game are no-brainers. The last Conference Tournament I attended was the SBC in 2008 in Mobile, Alabama...a 500 mile drive. Even though the tournament finals were on a weekday, we still had about 1,000 fans there. It's only about 250 miles to Birmingham from Bowling Green so if WKU makes it to the semi's or finals, I can see several thousand make it.
I've been trying to forget that "Championship" night in Mobile
Men and women both
'Twas a long trip home. Left right after the men's game was over.

Same here. It rivals "Black Tuesday" as one of the worst days in MT sports history for me....
On Nov 20, 2007 we lost to Troy in football 45-7 (with bowl eligibility on the line) and UTK in basketball 109-40. I think I just gagged.
But hey, looking forward to March in Birmingham. Will be a great time. Hope the conference is just as competitive next season as it was this past year.

We missed out on basketball, but we'll host the Women's Volleyball tournament.

Need to sell tickets and All Session passes before the season starts. Need to make schools within 250 miles be required to buy 1,000 All Sesions passes to sell.
If you don't force the schools to buy them, they won't push to sell them.

Live in East Limestone county - draw a line between Athens and Madison and we live in the middle. Plan to make the FB game in Birmingham next year too!
