UofL 2014 AAC Softball Champs
Cards took out #1 seded UCF in the Tournament title today winning 3-2. UofL will earn its 11th straight postseason appearance. Selection Show tonight at 10 on ESPNU

Congrats. UCF/Louisville definitely had the potential to be a good across the board rivalry. Of course, we would have had a LOT of work to do in hoops! 04-cheers

Yeah, they had pretty good runs at each other for several sports -- football, softball, soccer -- even golf and track competed to win the sports. In the BE it seemed that ND was our biggest competition in the Olympic sports as to who would win the most conference titles. UCF has done a good job on several sports and may well lead the conference in some of them. Someone needs to step up and give them some competition.

It will be nice for us to have all our sports back in one conference though -- this year we had to still have a few of them compete in the BE since the AAC didn't offer them.
