Bahamas Bowl
Given how long it takes to get passports these days, has anyone heard if AAC schools have already started the process to get passports for any football players who don't already have one? Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!

RE: Bahamas Bowl
The Bahama Bowl was purchased by CUSA. The AAC will play BYU in Miami instead of CUSA. The Bahamas will match CUSA vs the MAC.
No Bahama for the AAC

RE: Bahamas Bowl
well, i just applied for a passport for my 5 week old daughter since we are going away this summer and she needs a passport.
its your choice how fast you want it. i did expedited service, which was another $60 over the regular fee because they have a guarantee that you will receive it within 2-3 weeks door to door. i didnt want to chance the regular service and lose money on a trip over something like a passport.
the passport arrived literally 2 weeks to the day. not bad at all. i guess it also matters the time of year and how busy they are.

The Bahamas bowl is a bad idea. Let CUSA keep it.

Yeah, you're right... The AAC should focus solely on bowl games played in baseball stadiums, 3rd games in already saturated markets, and in tourist destinations like Birmingham...

You don't have to go bowling...you can always drop football and join the BE.

And your point is...what exactly? The comment was "The Bahamas Bowl is a bad idea. Let CUSA keep it." I disagree. I think that, on the whole, the BB is a better idea than some of our bowl ideas and a better destination than some of our bowl ideas. Instead of engaging that, you throw out the dreaded "Oh, yeah, well if you don't like it..." argument which has nothing in the least to do with anything.
I'll propose an idea that at least has more acuity than your ham-handed attempt: "You can always go and join CUSA." THAT comment would at least have some sort of actual intellectual value to it.
