No 19. Ranked Tulsa Softball took home the regular season and conference tourney titles. Grab the Auto-Bid to the NCAA's.

I think that makes it 55 since we entered in 2005... far and away the most of any school.

5 of those Tulsa titles came in the four major sports of football, basketball, baseball (which Tulsa doesn't play) and women's hoops.

By comparison, Houston won 7 CUSA titles in those four sports.

So Tulsa won 50 in the Olympic Sports? That's strong. Which are the best programs?

Thanks for asking. Right now I'd have to say our most disappointing sport was FB last year and possibly WBB (even though they were CUSA champions in 2012-13). But in FB we were only one year away from winning the LBowl. And we finished in the top 25 two of the last three years, and beat Notre Dame (I love saying that) in South Bend.

We don't have baseball anymore (we envy the schools that do) since it was dropped decades ago because of Title 9. We were a perrenial national power in that sport and almost won the CWS (national championship) in Omaha twice. But its gone.

Track/Cross Country, Soccer, Golf, Tennis, Volleyball have all been good to excellent lately. Most have been to the NCAA tournament over the last few years. But we know the AAC is a step up. We're looking forward to it.

With your Men's Tennis and Men's Soccer titles, at least you got lots of value for not having baseball!

Softball is a machine this spring!

There are also some doubles in that 50+ number where we have both regular season and conference tourney championships, but far and away the biggest totals in CUSA since 2005.

Hope we can continue the success in the AAC!

I noticed Tulsa won 50 games this year. Are they really that good, or was it because that UCF and Houston were gone?

A little bit of both? The conference was weak this year of course, but our team is better than last year's. They had some very good wins this year in non-conference. We play Houston in the NCAA's so we'll see how we do against you guys.

Yup, excited to face Houston first round!

The general consensus is that Waco is a more winnable region than Norman, so I think the team is happy with the draw.
