Incredible what Louisville has done and they have the budget and fan support to keep it up.

As great as this draft has been with Strong's players. It won't surpass our best draft in 2005.... which was under Petrino. So yeah, I'm not worried about sustaining our success. Louisville will be solid for the next decade.

You have to figure from the drafts of 2005 through 2009 Louisville's draft guys were either recruited or at least highly coached by Petrino during his time here. During those drafts we had 21 players to go -- the most over any period of time in the school's history. Several of those guys are still playing today. Several of them have gone on to coaching football across the levels of high school to college to pros. I fully expect that trend to pick right back up under Bobby now.

ACC has tied the SEC in total picks, and I believe leads by 4 if you count UL. No, you can't count ND.

EDIT: Subtract 1 for UMD.

FSU winning it all has brought much needed attention to ACC Football and should drastically improve recruiting and Media attention over the next Year or so. If ACC schools retain strong OCC Wins the sky could be the limit for Football growth throughout the conference. I expect the Conference will move much closer to the SEC standings the next few years.

None of the players drafted in 2005 were recruited by Petrino though.
