Only a few holes to go and they are T2 only one out of the lead. They are seven strokes ahead of the 9th place team (8 out of 24 move on to the finals). A very good round one.

Huge gap between the third and fourth golfers for KSU.

Today will end well for the Lady Flashes. I am guessing 4th place is where we will finish the day. Just have to keep the pressure on the other schools by playing well again tomorrow.

I love seeing the top teams of the regional of Alabama, UCLA, Cal, OSU, Kent State, Florida, other OSU, Miss. St., Arizona, Kansas, UNC, Minnesota and Arkansas.
What is that little MAC school doing with those teams?

Yes. If they were three women teams we would be running away with it.

The late teams didn't held on better then I thought. Looks like fifth or sixth with a three or four stroke lead on ninth.

Let's hope Phaewchimplee doesn't go pro on us. She will be leading after today's round. Only senior is the fifth golfer. Hopefully the Nielson's twins can improve upon that.

Only 3 rounds. The weather could play a factor. The morning rounds will be playing in 60-70 degree weather. However, the teams that start after 12pm will be playing in 90 degree weather.

Sixth place. Six out of first but only two ahead of ninth. Lost some ground today. I assume we will be in the 90 degree heat as we will should be the seventh group out of 8 to tee off.

RE: Women's NCAA Golf
I just checked they are sending top 12 teams off first. Two groups on 1 and two groups on 10. We are in the later group teeing off on 10. Should minimize the advantage/disadvantage due to temperature.

Not so good today. We are now in 11 th and still not done. +18 so far with about 3-4 holes to go. We can easily fall a few more places. There are a lot of teams just starting so there is hope but it's getting tight.

RE: Women's NCAA Golf
We are done. Wad is the only golfer left on the course and she needs to play the last 2 holes in -1 just to tie for what would be 8th place assuming the 2 teams in the top 8 who are just starting their rounds fall below us. Ha killed us on the last hole making a double.

A classic KSU choke job. On the bright side, Wad Phaewchimplee will be the individual champion and will advance to the NCAA tournament.

Natalie G. Didn't help either. She was +10 today after rounds of -1 and + 2 the first two days. Oh well!
