Georgia Southern's Jerick McKinnon drafted by Minnesota Vikings in the 3rd round.

Way to go Jerick. I enjoyed watching this kid grow.

I was really hoping that the Rams would pick him up. But I also kinda hope that Freddie Knighten gets drafted by then next year. I think an option QB would be great in the backfield with Bradford(or in place of him for that matter).

This is great for McKinnon. He will be able to learn from one of the best running backs in the world.

Quick played one year of HS ball, Price has questionable character issues, probably how we landed them at the FCS level.

Congrats to McKinnon, as a Vikings fan I don't like the pick, a round or two too early.

I remember his first game against Savannah State when he came in to relieve Jaybo. His first long run where he juked out most of the team had me in awe. I knew we had something special, but boy, he was tiny!

More likely he will be used as a safety, but you never know.

His two picks during the 2011 playoffs against Maine were game changing.

He will definitely be a RB.

He is the only QB we've had that has beat you since who knows when. Typing that was a real pride killer.

You must think Fredi will have a phenomenal season for him to declare early for the draft.

He just got SEC'd. The last 10 picks got coverage then 2 sec qbs go in order and they skip his pick to talk about them....

Congrats to Ryan!

Edit: they caught up
