I really hope for Darrin's sake his name gets called. This year's draft sets history for RBs getting shut out (first one chosen 37th).

Not a lot of backs going. It's strange.

Yeah. With teams going away from every down backs and so many rbs being out there, it is not ending well for the guys looking toget drafted. The league has seemingly been drafting these guys later and later. Unless the next ap is coming along, I think we will continue to see the top rbs fall into round 2

I'm gonna have to look it up now again, but I thought it was with the 54th pick that a RB got chosen. I think the previous record may have been 37.
54 it is http://www.azdesertswarm.com/football/20...deem-carey

I feel for him and hope he still has a chance, but I really wish he had made a smarter decision. I know he was sorta running away from McGee and was in danger of being overshadowed by Howard, but he was a player that could have benefited immensely from another year in college. Coming out with 4 solid years with the players he was playing with would have had him at the mid-range draft pick that he was looking for.

With Howard and a healthy Coles, his carries were going to diminish. Running backs have a short shelf-life. I wish he'd hung around, too, but I get why he jumped.

I suspect that all heck will break loose if Michael Sam doesn't get drafted in these final picks.

I suspect there will be faked outraged, and then outrage at the outrage.
Who cares? I'm watching for Reaves and Ike.

Not drafted. He still has a shot at making a team though. Remember Arian Foster? He wasn't drafted either.

That moment when Vikings fans realized that Ponder wasn't the answer.

Why play for free when you can get paid?
I get what you're saying, but they felt his draft stock wouldn't go up much even if he had another great year. Also he could have blown a knee or two, or worse
I think the straw that broke the camel's back was McGee. If McGee had quit sooner, I think Darrin would still be here. It sounds like the players really, really hated him more than the fans did. Plus McGee could have decided to kick him off the team like Jackie, or benched him like he did Brown and Perry over and over. I think it was the right move based on the info Reaves had at the time.

Hammer meets nail on the McGee part.
