Despite doomsday predictions, report finds only 1 layoff from sequester cuts

“Taxpayers expect us to root our predictions in fact, not ideology and spin,” Coburn said Wednesday in a letter to Office of Management and Budget Director Sylvia Matthews Burwell.

We need to stop calling it sequester. Call it what it was, a paid vacation.

The democrats played it for political advantage, eventually giving Ted Cruz more than what he asked for by unilateral Executive fiat. Shutting down the gov't equated to shuttering the WWII memorial.

Have the majority of the cuts happened yet?

The "cuts" were just too slow down the increases. This was nullified in the debt ceiling increase. IIRC
