Is this on the theory that you can't watch cricket all the time?

Going by the Indians I knew in Australia, they actually could watch cricket all the time. That game is a tremendous time suck, packing all the excitement of an afternoon of baseball into five days of play.

Instantly a Chandigraph Cheetas fan. That emblem is far too dope not to become one. Would love to watch some games.

Definitely loving how our brand of football is spreading across the globe.

Interesting to see former NFL coaches and player investing in this venture. The timing of playing when cricket season is done will help a lot.

Some of these look like the generic logos from EA. Very cool though. And UCF or ASU has a long way to go to catch the enrollment at Osmania University - 300,000 students!! Holy cow!

So wait... is this a bunch of Universities sponsoring football and joining an existing pro league?

I notice that even though they have only 8 members, they split the conference into two divisions. Take note, SEC, B1G and ACC. What are you complaining about?

I don't think so. I think it's their own CFB league, but run by the pro league - as if the NFL were to run the FBS. What's interesting is that the pro league played the vast majority of their games at one stadium.

I just caught that. Also notice where the goal posts are? Located by the goal line like in the old days.

There was a documentary made not too long ago about the rise of football in India and Pakistan. It was made by the guys who did the 30 for 30 The U. It was pretty cool. They basically hired a bunch of old college football players and taught them how to play football from scratch. I'm some cases they even created their own fields with tractors. It's a pretty cool little video to catch.

I think the talent pool can grow quite rapidly too. It seems like the players are having fun despite small crowds, and the players were far more athletic than I was expecting. I'm curious to how many HS's play HS football or how many U19 clubs there are.

and no doubt Debbie Yow is on the phone with several of them getting home and homes for NC State.
