sorry but i am not gonna care for a comment that .01% of college basketball fans take as accurate.

03-lmfao What exactly is wrong about what I said? Please explain why UNC, Duke, and Louisville are not UCONN's peers.

The truth is 4 National Championships.

no one here is debating uconns athletic status with those programs. what is getting debated is the clear stupidity of this lil gem:

There are also only 3.5 worthwhile programs for UCONN to play in the ACC.

Oh that is the clear stupidity? 07-coffee3

pretty much. any sports writer who said that would become a laughing stock.

my runs ins with uconn fans have to do with comments i make that are calling things like i see it. you guys however are focusing on clearly false talking points that no rational uconn fan would even believe as accurate and do so with the intent of malice. hence the reason It doesn't bother me because your comments are so inaccurate that no one takes them seriously outside a couple of people who have clearly been ruined by me.

Have you ever for a second considered calling things like you see it could be the problem? Planet Johnny must be a lonely place.

Note to John: This is a fan forum, not a sports publication. 03-lmfao Given the reaction I got out of you, I'd say I was quite successful in my comment. 04-rock

reaction? do you see waves of cuse/pitt fans getting butthurt over those comments? all i did was point out the obvious troll of your points.

i make this thread and immediately you & hank show up crying about my uconn hatred and being a cuse fan with an agenda which is a reoccurring theme anytime i touch a uconn related topic with you.

when you see me, cuseroc & texanmark chasing you around in threads over what you say about SU then we can have this conversation.

i prefer honesty instead of kiss ass

uconn fans ==> because they don't have a chance at the acc/b10

ecu ===> same reason

houston ==> because i talk positively about rice

if i posted this in the AAC thread it would be trolling, instead i posted it here to have a discussion how the bottom 5 aac schools continue to hold the aac down. you guys respond wih crap like:

There are also only 3.5 worthwhile programs for UCONN to play in the ACC.

I like and respect Texanmark. The problem is you going out of your way to make digs at certain schools/conferences. When you call a thread "Checkmate AAC," therein lies your smack talk problem. The MWC doesn't have a scheduling agreement. Where is their "Checkmate MWC" thread? Just admit it...you like to troll on certain schools/conferences. We've all seen your posts on the AAC board. Talk about a creature of habit.

Yet there was no mention of the bolded part in your original post. Instead, it was just a shot at the conference.

if my goal was to annoy aacers i woulda posted it in the AAC forum.

the title is appropriate because it is a checkmate move on the AACs conference challenge scheduling opportunities.

Need? No. But it helps. It helps your SOS, helps your RPI. It can give you a chance for a "good win" come tournament selection time. Less concretely, it legitimizes you as a peer of the P-5 if you can pull off a conference challenge with the PAC. It's not the be-all and end-all some people were saying a few days ago when the Big Ten-Big East challenge was announced ("The Big East must have traded MSG for this!" 01-wingedeagle)

Quote:I think we are probably better off playing the best teams we can schedule and let someone else get stuck having to play a crap team because the league signed on to do a "conference challenge".

Well, your conference has, er, certain teams who fit that bill. I'd push for a series with the PAC if I were you guys.

Sorry Cincy is boring, they dont move the needle for other fanbases other than Xavier.

haha we play a boring style of hoops, no doubt, but we kicked your butts (granted, beating Rutgers isn't much to brag about)
