Massive Explosion in Iran

Quote:A heavy explosion has taken place at a warehouse in Qazvin, north Iran, according to local news agencies. Authorities expect high numbers of casualties as a subsequent fire tore through the area.

That site was Rumoured to be a nuclear development site.

Quote:Iran is developing a secret uranium enrichment site near Qazvin, 120 miles west of Tehran, a dissident group said today, citing satellite images of the area.

The facility is called Behjatad-Abyek and is code-named 311, according to the Iran Policy Committee, which supports the anti-regime People’s Mujahedeen of Iran.

Granted the claim has to be taken with a grain of salt.. but it's in the same location.

They immediately blocked off 2 Kms (!) .. I'd have think if they were worried about nuclear radiation or such, they'd have it blocked off a lot more. But we'll have to wait and see I guess (and see if anyone picks up the story in the media)

Pretty sure they'll blame Israel or the US for something.

Clearing out an entire town would be a lot more conspicuous. Just let the poor locals die.
