Pure Michigan campaign focues on Kalamazoo
Heard this Tuesday around 4:30 pm.

Always enjoy the Tim Allen voice overs but this shocked me as it lead with Kalamazoo and was exclusively Kalamazoo.

Love it!

I think it is a great ad campaign. Very well produced. They run several of the TV ads here in NC. The person who does the voice over has great voice.

I've always loved the campaign... extremely well done. If I recall correctly, it's won quite a few advertising awards over the years.

Shouldn't it be a little more specific?

Can we find any other convicted serial drunk drivers in Michigan other than Tim Allen to do Pure Michigan voice-overs?

Too close to the forest to see the trees?

Hadn't heard here in Chicagoland, so new to me.

Love Kalamazoo and even just thinking of it.
And yes, same could said about elsewhere. But it
only touted Kalamazoo. BAM

Did you forget your sanity pills today?

Just face it, Tim Allen is a terrible representative of WMU and of Michigan. One of the least successful actors/comedians in modern American who is also a menace to society, especially if you drive the streets of Oakland County. But of course, Allen is extremely wealthy, which automatically makes him a success to CD/CD1/CD2.

Pretty sure Allen learned how to party before college. WMU was like grad school partying for Allen.

At one point in time Tim Allen had the top rated TV show, highest grossing movie and a book at #1 on the NY Times best seller list (all in the same week). Not sure what the standard is for success in your book CCB. Yes, he was busted for drug dealing, but that was over 30+ years ago. Since then he has had one DUI.

I like Tim Allen and enjoy his work. By the way, he himself admits he has only a limited range when it comes to acting. But he has done well with what talent he has.

He's made the most of his rehab and second chance, why keep bagging on him?

Are you sure? Just one?

EDIT: OK, he has one from 1997. I stand corrected. Notice how I never brought up his 30 y/o offense.

You gotta figure all those comedians are on drugs at some point right? Just like the cartoon people, advertising guys, drywall ers and painters. Goes with the territory.

And there was some point, probably about the time Tim was at WMU, when you'd have been hard pressed to find a soph at WMU or K that was sober between Thursday afternoon and Sunday brunch.
