The moment I heard Maryland and Rutgers were in, I knew we would be seeing Conference post season games in Washington D.C.

it is a no brainer for a conference that is so dependent on federal funding for many of its big research projects.

Just like how the Rose Bowl is a massive schmooze fest, so will be that game. There will be conference tournament games there for football too if we as a conference are able to get to that point.

I see you still haven't learned how federal research works.

I see you havn't learned about Alumni schmoozing. You try so hard and fail in these attempts.

Seriously, you are boring and are entirely too one dimensional in your thinking.

Will you two quit going after each other already?

Only one of us went after the other. I simply had to further represent my point since that guy felt the need to try and misrepresent. I could care less what he thinks about me personally, he isn't even amusing, but to say that my entire point is about research dollars...no. I wouldn't expect a Pitt guy to understand the schmoozing that goes on at big time Big Ten events. The Rose Bowl is evidence enough.

D.C is filled with Big Ten grads and much more goes on in D.C. than JUST research grants. His simple one track mind is so tedious to deal with.

Or do you really think Louisville will be top 10 this coming year?

Heard it when we left The Missouri Valley. Heard that when we joined The Metro. Heard again when we helped form CUSA. A few years later we were warned not to jump to The Big East. Every time UofL has changed conferences it has been successful. We don't expect the move to The ACC to be any different.

I think in the past 100 years you've had maybe 2 or 3 major bowl victories and no national titles so I'm sure you guys will continue that 'success' in the ACC, I agree.

How many other programs in The Missouri Valley, Metro, CUSA or Big East-Post 2003 won a National Title? H ell how many went to The Fiesta, The Orange and The Sugar Bowls?

The reality is not all programs were gifted an opportunity to play in a power conference like The Southwest '76 to '96. How many titles has Houston won since getting kicked to the curb by The Big 12? How many BCS bowls?

The more things change the more they stay the same.
