Gallop Poll- Uninsured numbers way down!
From 18% in the 3rd quarter of 2013 down to 13.4% in April of 2014 is very impressive. That translates to about 11 million more insured adults in 7 months. It also translates to an improvement of about 25%!

Am I missing something here? The highest number of uninsured people occurred during the Obama years and only dropped after he put a gun to people's heads.

So it's gone from 14.4 to 13.4 and that's "way" down?

Seems if you take peoples insurance away, then force them to buy new, you end up pretty much were you started.

You left out that those who are insured either can't afford to use it or can't find a doctor to take it.

Gallop Poll- Uninsured numbers way down!
I can see that by once again noting simple factual information about one of the most significant legislative actions in recent history I have set off the typical knee jerk responses from the usual crowd. Love it or hate it the reality of the situation is that significant numbers of previously uninsured adults are now covered.

I offer information, you offer unproductive name calling. Obviously you are the winner of whatever it is we are competing in. Well played.

Well if you are using the lowest percentage of uninsured in the last five years that would be correct, but the percentage was sitting at 18% in the fall of 2013 and it is 13.4 now.

No I'm afraid you don't have that straight. The number of uninsured varies in time but it has been running at between 44-48 million recently. It is down about 25% or about 11 million ADULTS. That isn't including children. The 44-48 does include children
