His scouting report on scout.com says he needs work on his jumper. I guess that's why the video only shows two jump shots.

He can play next year right?

EDIT: I looked him up more and he was a preferred walk on at Washington State (PAC 12) and transferred after a year. Kid looks crazy athletic and a strong need can possibly be filled if he does good.

It's a community college, so I presume he can play right away.

Looks like he has hops, and has some bulk. Before reading any of the thread, and after 2/3 of the video I started to notice there are an awful lot of dunks on that video. Hope he is working hard on a jumper. Really hope so.

Reminds me a bit of Kenny Battle around the basket. And Kenny was never really known as a jump shooter.

i like it. i think were missing that explosive player and he could be that piece for us. big dunks ( especially those that are done w authority) are big momentum changers which are key in basketball. i just go back to watching how some of Taj Gibson's big dunks totally would change the momentum of some games for the Bulls the last few years. it also adds a little more excitement to the games which we obviously lack at the convo (maybe that helps attendance in a small way). again, hes coming from the juco ranks so who knows if he will translate or any of these things will happen but if he does it could definitely help

....and being able to make over 50% at the stripe would be swell too.

Looks like he's got the dunking thing down pat. Unfortunately there's a bit more to the game than that.

Hopefully with his vertical he can strengthen our rebounding even more as well.

True. But he is listed as a guard. Kenny was a forward. It's a little more necessary for a guard to be able to shoot, no?
