Sort of ironic how we are in another 'war'... Hope if there are any protests they don't end up like the atrocity in Kent, Ohio.

I remember that… as a kid I was sure the world was coming to an end.

What war are you referring to?

The woman one. Or the poor one. Might be he meant the immigrant war.

My memory of those times is that Nixon got blamed for trying to win a war he didn't get us involved in.

It's now official policy at Kent State to suppress dissent. It's just not quite as overtly violent.
