Hard Ciders
Anyone else like these things? My go-to beers are typically porters, dark brown ales and red ales but I've started to like these ciders. They're pretty much the opposite end of the spectrum. I know they're kind of frowned upon by some "beer" drinkers (and I use that term loosely). I have friend who can't have gluten and offered me one of these drinks. I found it to be pretty refreshing and easy to drink. It was one of the angry orchard ciders.

If hard ciders taste like Apple Pie Moonshine. then that’s some good stuff.

I had some good hard cider out of Maine a long time ago. It was called Five Island Orchard.

The main ingredient to making good hard cider is the time for fermentation.

I'm not a big fan of them personally. The ones I've had have been too sweet.

Tell your friend to find a place that sells Omission beer.

Add a shot of Fireball to the Angry Orchard. We call it Angry Balls here in Louisville. Very good.

I've had the same and know it by the same name. Definitely a good drink.

Agreed. Although I tried a pear cider this past weekend that didn't seem as sweet as the typical apple ciders.

I drank several Landsharks this weekend, and they got to be too sweet for me too.

I used to be a pilsner man. Then I started getting into the darker brews. Pilners usually are too weak for my taste. I need a nice 7% or above stout brew.

i've had a gallon jug in the freezer from local orchard for a minute now. it's that good unpasteurized sh!t. it's too hot out to boil it and add the whiskey so i thinks i'll wild ferment it.

I'm just not a fan of the taste. If I am wanting something strong I'll drink whiskey.

Isn't it amazing what a bit of oxygen and some time produces.
