MSNBC's Ed Shultz: Republicans "Every bit as racist" as Sterling....
For Not Raising Minimum Wage

Quote: MSNBC host Ed Schultz pounced at the opportunity to call Republicans racist following the Senate’s failure to pass the minimum wage bill, as he said not raising the minimum wage is “every bit as racist as comments made by Cliven Bundy and Donald Sterling.”

Schultz used the recent controversies surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers owner and Bundy, a Nevada rancher, as cause to slam Republicans for failing to pass the Senate bill to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour during his MSNBC show Wednesday afternoon.

“Not raising the wage, the minimum wage, is every bit as racist as comments made by Cliven Bundy and Donald Sterling,” Schultz charged. “It’s just displayed in a different way.”

Is he saying that only minorities can't get decent jobs and have to settle for minimum wage? This is the guy who wouldn't support NBC's union, remember?

I hope the Regressives keep over-playing the race card.....it will back-fire and blow up in their faces, as well it should.

Are there some? Yes.

I will say this about Republicans though: a black man running as a Republican from a Republican area probably has the best shot of winning their office in the nation.

Are you saying there aren't any racist Democrats?

Hell yeah there are, but that wasn't the subject. I didn't want to type out every group that had racists.

Maybe the best qualified person where race isn't a factor?

It already has.

They're to the point where if anyone disagrees with them, you're either a racist, a conspiracy theorist, or a terrorist. I guess they draw out a hat to decide which they'll use with any given situation. Their very own are beginning to call themselves out on it. See: CNN and ABC correspondents at the Benghazi press conference w/ Jay "Baghdad Bob" Carney.

It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

I watch him sometimes. for the laughs. especially when there's a good one out there. the day after the 2010 midterms, for example.

I am certain that his head is going to explode on camera one of these days, and I don't want to miss it.

So let me get this straight. Minorities make up what percentage of minimum wage workers? The BLS says in 2011 Whites made up 5 percent, Blacks made up 6 percent, Asians made up 3 percent and Hispanics made up 5 percent.

Seems as if the Bureau of Labor Statistics refutes his comment. The percentages are pretty close across the board in regard to race and the minimum wage. The fact is...Whites make up the vast amount of minimum wage workers nation wide.
