The Vikings - what a relief
Although it was pretty obvious how The Vikings season finale would play out, I was relieved that it played "completely" out. No 9 month wait to see if someone died or was a traitor (Siggy and Floki were in on the plan all along). All the "good guys", including Torstein, survived and King Horik's clan was eliminated.

Next year we can get back to England.

Historical spoiler: In reality, King Ecbert (historically Egbert) was successful in overthrowing Mercia and Northumbria, so there is little to wonder about on the grand scale.

One more comment, the ending had a "Michael Corleone" flavor.

Ragnar is a clever fellow. I was sweating a few weeks back when I thought he might kill his infant son, the Ivar the boneless. Might want to put spoiler in the thread title.

This is a fantastic show....

I really thought Siggy would sell Ragnar out. I kinda thought Floki would be loyal, but was beginning to wonder over the last could of episodes, especially with his disdain for the priest.
