Trust me, he was a ******* at Duke.

As a Clemson alum, I'm not a fan of his. But he's exactly right - nobody has ever won 5 straight before he did. Clemson can shut him up by beating him. It's that simple.

On another note, I go to church with a couple for whom spurrier's dad officiated the wedding. That's right - Darth Visor is a preacher's kid.

They say preacher's kids are always the worst.

He can talk all he wants....... and the ONLY thing that will shut him up will be Dabo KICKING HIS ASS all over the field for multiple years.

I think Clemson can/will finally quite that fool starting this year! (WISH we could switch ukant for "the other USC" just for a year or two.)

It is a small world.
Spurrier's dad preached several years at First Presbyterian Church in St. Albans WV years and years ago. I know this as fact because my Dad preached there years later.
I know it's hard to believe as I'm sure most folks think that he is spawned from Satan.
I kid.

He is a proven winner. You hate him if he is coaching against you and love him if he is your coach. He doesn't mind throwing out a little smack talk. He owns his losses and that is why he can get away with what he says.

Before he went on his little run a few years ago he was really, really quiet. And before and after there have been plenty of times where he threw players and assistants under the bus after losses. Granted, after he trashed the assistant coaches or players he'll throw in a statement where he offhandedly accepts responsibility, but only after he thoroughly trashes the players and/or assistant coaches.

Sperrier needles the dumb folks who take the bait. He did the same at fsu. The only way to respond is best him. Period . No reply and action just win.. Unfortunately Clemson recently just haven't done that so the gamecock nation can justly state who is your daddy?? Come back when u can compete .
