Exclamation 2014 MACtion
Here's an early look at the non Saturday games lined up this fall for the MAC, which matchups are you most excited about? Thurs 8/28 Chattanooga @ Central Michigan

Fri 8/29 Bowling Green @ Western Kentucky

Fri 9/6 Baylor @ Buffalo ESPN

2014 MACtion
I won't be shocked if the Missouri vs. Toledo game gets moved to a weekday night.

Most excited about:

Fri 9/6 Baylor @ Buffalo ESPN....Is this game going to be played at UB Stadium or are they going to the Bills stadium? Hope it's at UB stadium, and if so, will you guys be able to sell out against a highly rated opponent?

Fri 9/12 Toledo @ Cincinnati ESPNU/ESPN3...Toledo looks to even the series record at 4-4. UT won the last meeting in 2012 at the Glass Bowl when Cincy was ranked.

Wed 11/19 bgsuCKS @ Toledo ESPN2/ESPNU...As always, the rivalry game. Rockets look to improve its win streak to 5 straight games over the Falcons.

I've got BG winning the East and Akron following.
I've got Toledo in the west with NIU right behind. So outside of teams in that relm nothing pokes out at me.
Buffalo will be cool to watch on national TV. I don't see OU being very good, and the same with Buffalo. BSU vs. BG and NIU could be good, but they're a wildcard with their graduating of talent.

Cannot speak for EMU or WMU but CMU fans have been pretty vocal about the dislike of weekday games. Seeing how many fans are in the metro detroit area the treck to mt p is 2-3 hrs one way and is not going to be feasible to attend those games. Our AD has responded and 5/6 home games are on saturday with the lone weekday game being thur before labor day!

RE: 2014 MACtion
Seeing as how Miami probably came closest to beating UC in all of our games this past year, I think Toledo stands a fair chance of beating the Bearcats at home.

Kiel makes them a much better team.

RE: 2014 MACtion
So we have 5 non-Saturday games out of 12 this year and it could be 6 if the UNLV game is officially moved to Friday. 03-puke

2 of those at home as of now.

RE: 2014 MACtion
Bumping this up for reference regarding the new ESPN contract.

Here's the distribution of November MACtion games (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) by team. Friday's "MACsgiving" games (apparently that's a thing now) are not included-

4 Akron (2H / 2A)
4 Kent St (2H / 2A)
3 BGSU (1H / 2A)
3 Buffalo (2H / 1A)
3 NIU (1H / 2A)
3 Ohio (2H / 1A)
3 Toledo (1H / 2A)
2 Ball St (1H / 1A)
2 UMass (1H / 1A)
1 Miami (1H / 1A)
0 Central Michigan
0 Eastern Michigan
0 Western Michigan

Any surprises?
