RE: Bowl Tweet
So if we do become eligible to make a bowl this year, UAB will probably get sent to another bowl most fans can't make. Oh well, friends, spirits, and a big screen will sooth the pain.

Spirits have soothed the pain of UAB football for the past decade.

Rumor has it that CUSA is in the beginning stages of purchasing another bowl with an exotic location. Expect an announcement on the Bermuda Triangle Bowl in the next couple of days

Surely Juneau, Alaska needs a bowl and won't be able to get the #11 SEC team...

Why did he give up the Miami Bowl? We've got plenty of Florida teams that would have been great choices for the bowl if eligible and other C-USA teams an easy flight from most airports. (As a Marlins fan, I was looking forward to possibly watching my favorite college team in my favorite MLB team stadium)

Maybe we need a rebirth of the Bacardi Bowl. I always thought that would be a fun bowl to attend.

The Miami was never guaranteed. AAC always had an option to choose an available P5 team instead. We were lucky they let us have their spot in the Bahamas in exchange for Miami.
