He is a super nice man and one hell of a X's and O's guy. He just didn't seem to recruit well. If he has a good staff of recruiters then he will do fine.

Would not be happy with the other options on the table. He will not bring excitement to the fanbase.

Exactly what I was going to say. The man is a great coach. You would just need a couple of great recruiters under him.

Yep, great coach, poor recruiter. Very likable. Looks like Ron Howard's brother. He could do some damage if he can find assistants get him some talent.

Doc Sadler is one of a few people that you could put a tuxedo on him and he would still look like a homeless man. He's be better off wearing a nice polo with nice jeans instead of a suit. He's not too much into the fan base either. He's a fair coach though.

Doc is a smart coach. He won't come in and try to change what is working. When he took over at UTEP, he stuck with the program and the team didn't miss a beat.

If you want USM to have the same success they had this year, Doc is your man.
