Well to be fair, there are a lot of defects that aren't mental illnesses. I'd call desiring to be the opposite sex a mental illness though.

Besides, I never liked God's early work (old testament)...too much fire, brimstone, and anger...his later work (new testament) was much more enjoyable...weak plot, though.
