This must be the third time today that I asked a question, and have been accused of knowing the answer.

I thought it might have been because he voted against it...

The justices rule on constitutionality...he saw no constitutional basis to defend it...she did...nothing more, nothing less.

But Thomas has been a target of the left his whole career. Their over the top flogging of him after his appointment actually turned Andrew Breitbart from a progressive liberal to a conservative.

It's the dichotomy of "a real black man" can believe this or else he is an "uncle tom"..

Thomas is pretty awesome in my opinion. He's written a lot on how damaging affirmative action is and how it is a stamp of inferiority.

Sotomayor feels she can claim she is a product of affirmative action but doesn't want the negatives associated with it applied to her.

Most of y'all are too young to remember but you should have seen how badly the liberal media tried to destroy him when he first took the bench. He was enemy number 1. The white left was outraged.

I remember listening to the pubic-hair-on-a-coke-can hearings on the radio. The left treated blacks differently back then.
