If the MAC, MWC etc. make the same changes, whatever those are, not a big deal. Hope the extra playoff $ helps us afford at least most of the "keep up with the Jone's" changes....

Mad though as it sounded earlier as if it could be all FBS schools against the world, not just big 5.

Here is a visual comparing the GO5 to the P5 in terms of the Access Bowls and Playoff from the conference alignment thread.

I think they are over-reaching with all of this. I know as a fan I will not be watching any of their bowl games or so called national championhips, if it is only for 65 schools going forward. Plently of NFL action to watch. I only watch now due to the Huskies being in the mix in a very limited fashion that keeps me watching. Once this moves to another status level, I am out and they can suck it.

Out of caring even small bit for anything the big 5 does.
Always a Huskie.

I'm ok with the current system. Under the BCS, teams had to jump through hoops (top 16 and ahead of a power conference champ or top 12) to make a BCS game. Under the new rule the little guys automatically get a bid.

I don't expect the little guys to get the same benefits as the big guys. Yeah they sit at the big table as the picture depicts but the little guys as a whole don't have the talent to compete year in and out with them so I'm not going to expect the same benefits.

The bowl season would be watered down if it was forced to be more equal.

Coming up next Middle Tennessee St vs. Georgia in the Cotton Bowl!!!

We can't get the talent because they have the $$$$$$! Now they are shutting the door so no one else can get in and they get to keep all of the money
