Exclamation Which conference games are you most interested in?
Even though I'm interested in all the conference games, I believe the best games for UC will be SMU, East Carolina and Houston. I think they'll be critical in determining the conference champion.

I'm really interested in seeing the East Carolina fans - should be fun!

RE: Which conference games are you most interested in?
I'm actually interested in all of them, but for different reasons. It's great to have some old rivals back on the schedule and I'm excited to have some new competition. Giant upgrade all around.

You don't realize how lucky you are to be in a league like this until you have to play in a league like C-USA was last year. We didn't do very well but it didn't help having to play teams that no one had heard of before... As a conference opponent.

ECU @ Cincy (Just wish we were playing at Nippert)
ECU vs UCF
ECU vs UCONN
ECU @ USF

I will also throw in ECU @ Temple because I'll be traveling up to Philly to see that game and will be watching from a box! Woohoo!

RE: Which conference games are you most interested in?
I'm glad to be renewing our rivalry with ECU. Every year in CUSA it was usually a battle between UCF, ECU, and USM for the division title. I suspect it'll be much of the same again. Obviously the game with USF will always be a big one. I can't tell you how badly I want to beat them in their own house this season, being that we got completely humiliated our last time there in 2007. But it's going to be damn tough beating both of these guys in back-to-back road games to end the regular season. I certainly look forward to the rest of the conference slate, but those two stick out the most. Obviously starting off the conference schedule at Houston is going to huge, too.

usf ucf -they hated between them leading up to the game is always entertaining and the talent gap between them is closer this year

ecu-temple - i like points and this game has the potential for lots of it
ecu vs cincy will also be a good game

offcourse houston vs cincy

tulsa tulane- fist aac game, boh teams coming in with major questions ad could be a good close game

there were so many good games lasl year hoping for a repeat

For next season, the Thursday night game between UCF and ECU in Greenville the last week of the season....that should be on every calendar.

I'm actually looking forward to the ECU @ Temple game....I think there will be a nice contingent of Pirate fans there.

The typical ucf / usf / ecu games. I'm saddened Memphis isn't on our schedule this year, but kind of relieved at the same time, After last years game.

Truth be told, the game I'm looking forward to the most outside of ucf's is the Boise State @ UConn game. I think the entire G5 will be watching that game.

I'm curious to see how Tulane fares, but after reading that preview the other day, I don't think I should hope for much in the way of improvement.

I think we must win Cincinnati at home or ECU on the road to make a bowl. Of course TCU and Houston wins at home would be icing on our cake. No expectation of winning the Conference.

I look forward to all. There's not a bad game in the AAC. No team will be overlooked. But for favorites I would say:

ECU vs UCF
ECU vs UC
ECU vs Houston
ECU vs UCONN

I would add USF to that list. But since we sent them Skippy, we've already 03-nutkick them enough.

It is pretty funny that Skippy coached at UConn, ECU, and USF. At UConn and ECU, the man wasn't half bad. However, there is no debate about him stinking up the joint at USF. Skippy was USF's version of Paul Pasqualoni!

We don't play Houston this year.

The OP didn't specify a year.

I will be with 15 friends at the Temple game. Looking forward to going up for that. The UCF game ought to be a barn burner on Thursday night. UCONN maybe another exciting Thursday night special. If nothing else hopefully we will win and get good exposure.
