Little slow on realignment news so figured I'd whip something up.

Like the hunger games. The top team from one conference will secure a spot in one of these three bowls (helps if you've seen the hunger games).

Like a table of top executives. "Oh okay, we'll take this one and you take this one. You four are in these two and the rest of us will fill in a place. Whoever brings the least amount of fans draws the G5 team."

I'm sure it is just an oversight...ESPN would never steer us wrong. Surely the B1G wouldn't double cross us?

We have our best ACC (at least horniest) mascot working on getting it straightened out.

All the Bowls care about is getting butts in the seats and eyeballs on TV. They know that they cant control who from what conference gets their bid but they know the odds of a winning P5 team that year leading to lots of eyes and butts are very high.

Contra wise, they know that the odds with a G5 champ are significantly lower and therefore a higher risk to the Bowl's bottom line.

You all know this perfectly well...but whining about how the bowls will not automatically agree to take your champ while ignoring WHY they wont do so sounds better.

I think he was just trying to make a joke, man. Sounds like he was just making light of the situation. I don't think he was whining about it.

Defensive much?

Dang, good catch. I knew I forgot one. We'll pretend the orange bowl was consumed at brunch.

But yeah I was just making light of the situation. It's humorous. But to battle your point..I dont ignore why. I do everything I can to make my Alma mater a more attractive place. Not much more I can do unless the AD lets me take over the marketing dept.

The Orange Bowl is a second-rate bowl for the champion of a second-rate conference to play the second best team of a superior conference. He was right to leave it out. 05-stirthepot
