There was a swap with Miami Beach. The 2014 C-USA primary bowl tie-ins include Bahamas Bowl, Boca Raton Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, Heart of Dallas Bowl and Hawaii Bowl, as well as a secondary agreement with the Independence Bowl.

No problem.

I think many opponents in the ESPN owned G5 bowls will be moved around to get the best match ups, or at least the match ups ESPN wants.

Really, there's no need for ties with 39-40 bowls...just do it by geography and match-ups

I like the idea of a "bowl pool"

So on Christmas Eve there will be two bowls on two tropical islands on ESPN: Bahamas and Hawaii.

I can't argue with that. When I go to the steakhouse and pay for a steak I expect to get the cut I prefer. In the case of these bowls I would expect to get onion rings and a milkshake with my cheeseburger instead of fries and a coke.

Both with C-USA teams this year. Not great for the fans but at least the players get nice destinations.
