with the hampster / guinea pig thing or what ever it is as the dad? If so, yeah makes no sense at all.
wouldn't choose them as a company b/c they've clearly lost it.

It has to be related to the book they are holding. My wife noticed it but yeah it is a reach to say the least.

For the commercial to work wouldn't you have to open a new Sprint account or change an existing plan to Sprint not open a thread questioning whether it makes sense?

Sprint and Tmobile have sub-par networks....No wonder they have to resort to gimmicks.

My work issued phone is Sprint and the poor coverage renders the phone useless.

You are right about the unlimited data plan. I have had Sprint for about 11 years now. Living in DFW the coverage is good most anywhere here and along the interstates. Get off the grid just a bit (like Pickwick) and it gets real spotty.

I had unlimited on Verizon for years and now I'm on a 6gb loyalty plan. It's expensive, but I rarely have coverage issues.

I keep thinking about switching but Sprint just isn't there yet.

I've been saying the same thing for the past month!!! This commercial just pisses me off. I don't get it at all and frankly, it's a little creepy.

the commercial is trying to show that you can have ANYONE on your group of 10. It doesn't have to be another family member like most group plans are, AND each member can even have a separate bill. By them using a diverse cast of completely unrelated people, even a hamster, they are trying to show you that anyone can join the group. Even the combined name Friends+Family=Framily.

I personally like the commercial as it's different, quirky and holds attention. However, I don't think it's effective in selling the product as can be seen from discussion in this thread, and I'm sure many people are not convinced to switch providers or join Sprint because of it.
