Maybe using powers-of-arrest to win football games is a Louisiana thing. The St. Paul's School in Covington, LA was briefly famous last season for having the Covington Police arrest an opposing team's coaches.

I witnessed it at three different games in the late 80's and 90's. Im not talking about drunks, i saw women cuffed and hauled out. We actually stopped playing them for a few years because of it. And yes it much the same as the Covington incident.
