UCA vs. UALR Baseball
Can't wait for tonight!

Good game last night with ASU.

Our bats are cold but hit at critical times. Too many stranded on base.

I know UALR is having problems and that sucks.

But as an average fan of the game, I'll go to enjoy it anyway.

I mean that game last year was awesome! Let's hope for a good one tonight.

I hate losing to you guys. We just didn't hit when we got men on base late. Grr.

Would make a great rivalry in baseball huh?

It was a good game and could have gone either way. Both teams were on winning streaks. But don't feel too bad, UCA has to win their tourney to make it to the post season. With the easier part of the conference coming up, our SOS or whatever will now dive.

I hope we play yearly.

Trojans will 7-6. Biggest crowd I've ever seen at a Trojan baseball game. So many that the concession stand shut down for about 30 minutes in the top of the 5th because they were out of food. I've never seen that before. Just got to believe that the basketball game could turn into a great rivalry. I'm sure some came because of the brawl in the first game at Conway. Nothing happened tonight but a good baseball game.

In a continuing example of how ridiculous things are in our State, Craig O'Neill felt compelled to apologize for covering the UALR / UCA baseball game by saying before they went to that story after covering the Hogs baseball game first that quote "Not to take anything away from the Razorbacks, but there was also another game tonight...". Brother, give me a break!

RE: UCA vs. UALR Baseball
Yet another great game last night! Our pitching wore out when we called on Stich I knew we were saving arms for our weekend series just like many teams trying to win their conference or at least get a playoff spot.

But if any ignorant moron thinks in-state competition isn't good for the people of Arkansas or athletics here, then they've never been to any of the games between UALR/ASU/UCA. Glad to be there last night, even in the loss.

I enjoyed checking out places in L.R. after the game too. Living in Conway it tends to be too easy to enjoy all the amenities there. It was a nice change, even for a Wednesday night.

Good luck Trojans on the rest of your year.

Maybe one day the Bears will get their alumni and fans to donate enough to move the program up to the SBC and we can all enjoy these games yearly that will mean a little more than a fun in-state rivalry game!

Go Bears!

That's the main reason I quit supporting the hogs. Until I started going to UALR games, I was a hog fan, had been all my life, but I saw then that the hogs weren't the only program in the state, and even though we got much more coverage then than now, I could smell what was happening. The stench got worse and worse each year, and I finally got to the point where I hated the team I had pulled for all my life. A guy told me one time, that most hog fans had never seen a hog game in person. I'm sure that's true thousands of times over. This ass licking media in Arkansas turned me off of the hogs.

An example, an action photo of a play in last nights Traveler game shows two Tulsa players falling over each other. Of course one of them was an ex-hog player. What a coincidence. Instead of a photo of a guy playing for the Travelers, they had to get one of an ex-hog playing for the opposition.

Hey if we play at either place my family will be there!

Past two years the Bears had good attendance at home games for in-state games.... better than some out of state games.

UCA at ASU: 1917
ASU at UCA: 4127
UCA at Arizona state: 4287
UCA at Miss. State: 2217
UCA at Texas Tech: 5440

I don't know what the huge attraction was when ASU came to UCA... 04-jawdrop 04-bow01-donnankungfu

Yeah, I'll be there...01-ncaabbs
