UALR baseball about as low as you can get
Lose to UAPB last night. Last place in the Sun Belt. Very slim chances of even getting in the tournament this year. It can't get much worse. I didn't even know we were playing UAPB yesterday. I know about the UCA game today. Losing to UAPB anytime is an embarrassment in my mind, and especially in baseball.
Something's got to be done at UALR to revive the whole athletic program or it needs to be shut down, and probably will on it's own
if some changes aren't made soon. I don't believe that our administration cares one iota about having a good athletic program. Just keep the coaches who will work cheap I guess. And as long as we don't have a fan base to put pressure on the administration to change things, the few fans left will have to accept what the they're
getting. As I've said, we can't much lower, especially in baseball. At least I've never heard of anyone finishing lower than last.

For what it's worth (maybe not much), UAPB was in first place in the SWAC last time I checked. They lost on the road to Auburn, 2-1. They lost at Tech Tech, 2-0 and 5-1. They are not a terrible baseball team.

I don't know what first in the SWAC means, but I think I know what last in the Sun Belt means. I would suspect that last in the Belt would be about first in the SWAC. Maybe second since first place UAPB beat us.
Beats the hell out of me how you can keep coming up with a golden excuse for every shortcoming in this athletic program. It's never, well maybe we could do better if we tried another plan. It's excuse after excuse, and but never the coaches or AD's fault.

I'm going to the UALR - UCA game tonight. Should be about 74 degrees at game time.

I've always felt that baseball is the one sport that there is really no such thing as an "upset" on any given day. UALR beating Oklahoma, 4 times in a row, seems to confirm that. UALR beating OU, even one time, is about on the same level as UAPB beating UALR. Shouldn't happen, but it does in baseball.

exactly. thats why the only games that matter are played in series. any one game means nothing.
