SEC:

In my opinion, the SEC is the only conference that has gotten every move right in realignment so far, and that's probably why they continue to be regarded as the #1 conference in the land.

For all but the early ACC additions there is not enough history to call it a success of failure. Down trends happen... Michigan did not just go through a dry spell because of the Big10, it happened because dry spells happen. They very well may have hit dry spells if they stayed in their old conference but they would have been dry spells with less money..

Look at TCU... They went from beating Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl to a bowlless disaster... That was not their conference changing that was players graduating.

They may have bowled in the Mountain West but it would not have been a BCS bowl and they would have been hard pressed win the conference

One thing that is overlooked is that attrition begins in the trenches and teams coming from lower levels don't have the size and depth there generally. I mean we've seen this in match-ups, recently, that I can remember between UofL, and even Cincy, vs. UNC or Nc St.. Now, that doesn't mean that you can't win games against bigger lines, but over the course of a season it is going to take a toll.

Well size was never an issue on Louisville's line. Had one of the bigger lines in the country. It was lack of quality play on the right side, even though the spots were filled with huge guys.

I call BS on TCU.They entered their first 2 b12 seasons ranked in the preseason polls.

They had tremendous hype going into both seasons and no one was expecting back to back losing seasons. I remember this specifically because both seasons TCU fans were talking a ton of smack only to be humbled by mid season.

Here is how I would rate things regarding Big East/AAC teams to the ACC:

BC, Miami, VT, Cuse, Pitt, UofL: WIN

they all won because they are in a P5 conference making a ton of money

You think ND will finally join a conference? And the ACC at that?

No, I don't think that they will, but they signed a contract with the ACC that stipulates that if ND football joins any conference before 2027, it has to be the ACC.
