The Unviersity of Cincinnati football game at Ohio State on Saturday, Sept. 27 will kick off at 6 p.m. and will be televised live on the Big Ten Network, it was announced Tuesday. The game also will be live streamed on BTN2GO.

The teams last met in 2006 at OSU, with the Buckeyes winning 37-7.

UC said that tickets are available starting at $84. First priority will be given to season ticket holders that have renewed their season tickets from last season, and the selection process will go by order of each season ticket holders' UCATS priority points. More information on ticket requests will be distributed to UCATS and football season ticket holders in the near future.

UC will receive $888,246 to play the Buckeyes this season. OSU recently disclosed its 2014 payouts at the request of the Associated Press.

6PM on the BTN is generally reserved for Indiana and Minnesota games.

I will enjoy the reactions of my coworkers to the start time as the game gets closer. If it is not 12:00 then it had better be a national game with national TV is the typical opinion. Their feeble minds may not be able to adjust the tailgate schedule for a 6PM start.

6PM starts just don't happen that often in Columbus but I think it is a reflection of the low drawing power UC has nationally. Of course when we win this game the attention will follow...

Agreed. I don't believe that there is no national interest here...

The OSU fans at my work are already not happy about the start time however... this is something like their 4th night game and most of them hate night games.

They have four night games next year, but ours is not the last one. You are correct though, OSU historically have preferred the earlier start times due to "tradition". However, the younger OSU fans I have encountered prefer the night games and the OSU administration has done a lot to schedule more night games the past 2-3 seasons.

I have the Big Ten Network, but I also just got word today that the Celina Daily Standard wants me to go to teh game to do a senior year piece on Eric Lefeld. Looks like I will be there in person.

I have a potential opportunity to go to this game. I have an OSU graduate ( a relative) looking into it.

My tickets are locked up. I have a cousin who has been an Ohio State season ticket holder for decades. Already have this game promised to me since he never actually attends any games.

Nothing good can come of me going to watch the Bearcats in Columbus...Drunk OSU fans and semi-drunk me, not a good mix. Plus...asides from the Liberty Bowl, Papa John's Bowl and Pitt in '09, UC hasn't won a game I've been at away from Nippert and, in most cases, get embarrassed in the process. Tennessee, Illinois, Belk Bowl, Sugar, Orange, West Virginia, played terrible at Oxford the couple times I've been....best for all involved if I watch from my couch in Lawrenceburg.

It is the GF of nearly 3 years who I am moving in with next month. I'd say I'm 95% skipping the wedding to go to the UC game. Hell I even said if she scheduled it in a non- UC v. OSU weekend I may even be willing to skip a rare UC game to go... but this is a big game and she ended up choosing that weekend.

I repeat, football season weddings are the worst. I remember in high school being really annoyed that my parents made me skip the UAB/UC football to go to my Cousin's wedding...and that was my cousin.
