RE: Preview: 2014 UCONN Huskies Football
UConn will go 12-0 and be invited to the ACC at the end of the season. 12 million people in the streets of NYC will watch as UConn's football team is thrown a parade.

I think that's the worst they could do, with a ceiling around 9 wins. I think they'll be bowl eligible.

I see 4 sure wins and 6 pretty sure wins. The Huskies should go bowling this season. The last month of the season will be crucial.

I expect between 5 - 7 wins. I really hope we make it back to a bowl game after not making one the past 3 years. Prior to that, we had made bowls for 4 straight years and honestly, that's what we started getting used to. Hopefully, the nightmare is over.

I could possibly see a win at USF as well. Either way, they should go bowling this year at 6-6 or 7-5.

RE: Preview: 2014 UCONN Huskies Football
Loss- August 29 vs BYU Cougars
Win- September 6 vs Stony Brook Sea Wolves
Win- September 13 vs Boise State Broncos (Home game, predicting an upset here.)
Loss - September 19 at USF Bulls (Don't play well in Tampa, but this will be a close game)
Win - September 17 vs Temple Owls (Not losing to Temple at home, beat them last year at our worst)
Win - October 11 at Tulane Green Wave
Loss - October 23 at East Carolina Pirates
Loss - November 1 vs UCF Knights
Win - November 8 vs Army Black Knights**
Win- November 22 vs Cincinnati Bearcats (Projected upset, we always get one in conference every season, we play Cincy better at home)
Win - November 29 at Memphis Tigers
Win - December 6 vs SMU Mustangs

I see 8 possible wins. But I am happy with 6-6.

9-3 is what I am expecting. 7-5 should be minimal. There is a good chance UCONN could win against BYU at the opener. I don't expect it, but it would be huge for the program and the Diaco era. Ollie era started with upsetting MSU in Germany. This is now Diaco's turn.

Expecting a big turn around I see. Could be, but I'd look for more of a 6-7 win year, with building blocks being laid for future success.

I was at that MSU game in Ramstein. What a way to begin a tenure. But if Diaco beats BYU that would be even far more improbable and B1Ger.

It would not be a huge turnaround. It is merely riding the momentum on how UConn finished last season. People forget UConn ended the season on 3 straight wins and we found a pretty good QB. I expect the defense to be very good with a much improved offense. It should be a good season.

I like how our conference mates are minimizing UCONN football. Well played, fellas. 01-ncaabbs04-bow01-ncaabbs

When UCONN goes 9-3 this season (10-2, if everything breaks right), I fully expect you all to post how you ALWAYS knew UCONN had this in them.
