The Bengals will hold their annual pre-draft workout Wednesday for players with local ties. That includes some who played for area colleges (including UC and Miami) and others who attended high school in the Cincinnati metro area.

According to Enquirer Bengals beat writer Paul Dehner Jr., there are 24 draft-eligible players scheduled to work out. The list includes 13 former UC players:

-- DT Marques Aiken, TE Blake Annen, LB Greg Blair, OL Austen Bujnoch, DB Arryn Chenault, OL Andre Cureton, DT Adam Dempsey, DB Deven Drane, QB Brendon Kay, RB Anthony King, OL Sam Longo, WR Anthony McClung and DT Jordan Stepp.

The NFL draft is May 8-10. No Bearcats were invited to this year's NFL combine and none are rated certain draftees, but players such as Annen, Blair, Bujnoch, Kay and Longo are among those expected to at least get free-agent looks.
